Last year a good friend at work told me that when her 4 kids were little, she would spend the day after Thanksgiving planning out 25 days of Christmas fun to do with her children in December. I thought that was a fabulous idea so I made a list of my own. This year I added making a Gingerbread House with my kids. I was surprised at how well they both did. The only thing I had to do to help was hold the house still so it didn't slide as they were pressing the candy in. Caleb concentrated until it was all done. He told me I had to add "snow" all around the ground. Looks like he will be just as detail oriented as his big sister.
